As a pioneer in the home and community care sector, CTG is excited to announce the relaunch of our unique Home Support Worker program for its third consecutive year. This initiative offers paid virtual classroom training, compensated on-the-job training, and job opportunities for empathetic and self-sufficient individuals aspiring to enter the healthcare profession.

Program Overview

  • Discover the advantages of providing home care and supporting individuals in their residences. Enhance your healthcare abilities by collaborating with clients and their families to address their complex care requirements.
  • Acquire top-tier knowledge about home care and service plans to assist individuals with daily living activities, including feeding, lifting, transferring, dressing, personal hygiene, and safe bathroom use. Additional essential training encompasses household management, nutrition, and meal preparation.
  • Learn to identify healthcare concerns using fundamental assessment techniques and communicate findings effectively.
  • Understand the vital role that Home Support Workers play within a multidisciplinary care team.
