About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Little Champs Day Care Centre Inc. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Education: Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Childcare Tasks: Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, engage children in activities, and prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, and engage in open communication with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Childcare centre with a focus on providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
