About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Little Champs Day Care Centre Inc. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their needs.
  • Engage children in activities that promote their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our children.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records of children's progress and development.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements
  • Punctuality and dependability are essential for this role.
  • Excellent oral communication skills are required to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
