Role Overview:

The primary objective of this position is to enhance the capabilities of National Conservation Trust Funds (NCTF) throughout the region in effectively evaluating the performance and impact of their initiatives. This includes the creation of tools and systems for gathering gender-disaggregated data and analyzing relevant information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the capacity of staff to implement monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools and systems to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Develop training materials and facilitate training sessions for staff on gender-responsive planning, monitoring, and evaluation methodologies.
  • Assist in the creation of M&E systems and tools for collecting disaggregated data and conducting program impact evaluations.
  • Support the formulation of gender-responsive and results-oriented indicators to monitor and report on program effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of an M&E database and the preparation of M&E reports.
  • Enhance staff skills in grants management and monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in social sciences, international development, gender studies, or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least three years of relevant experience in promoting gender equality and women's development.
  • Experience collaborating with governmental bodies.
  • Proven experience in training and facilitation.
