Job Summary

As a Team Lead - Gas Field Evaluations Specialist at CSA Group, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of high-quality Special Inspection (SI) / U.S. Field Evaluation (USFE) services for a designated product group. Your primary goal will be to ensure operational and financial targets are met while maintaining consistency with corporate and divisional policies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage day-to-day operations and delivery of SI/USFE services, scheduling work and controlling service delivery output.
  2. Lead a team of employees, providing direction and leadership, and ensuring all aspects of service delivery meet divisional and corporate policies and procedures.
  3. Develop and assign performance and productivity goals, monitoring efficiency levels to ensure high-quality execution of certification and testing services.
  4. Manage field evaluation projects concurrently, ensuring completion within time frames and cost deadlines.
  5. Evaluate products against national/international standards and precedent decisions, making technical decisions as needed.
  6. Develop and maintain accurate, orderly, and complete test data, analyzing results and determining compliance.
  7. Provide technical information services to clients, liaising with customers in the design stage to ensure requirements of national/international standards are met.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5-7 years of job-related experience.
  • 2-4 years of Special Inspections (SI) / U.S. Field Evaluations (USFE) experience or experience conducting Gas SIFE projects.
  • 1-3 years of managerial experience or related managerial tasks.
  • Experience with Gas products and applicable gas standards is an asset.
  • Thorough knowledge of Standards and testing procedures, as well as CSA certification options, programs, and services applicable to a variety of equipment.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Proficient written and spoken communication in both English and French.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Conflict resolution skills to deal with employee and customer issues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to complete job tasks independently and in a time-efficient manner.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $92,920 to $121,958.
