About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysicist to join our team at Dejour Energy. As a Geophysicist, you will play a critical role in advancing our understanding of the Earth's physical properties and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Oceanographic Research Programs: Design and execute research programs to extend our knowledge of the physical, chemical, and biological properties and functioning of oceans.
  • Advise on Natural Risks: Identify and provide expert advice on anticipated natural risks, ensuring the safety of our operations and the environment.
  • Lead Geological and Geochemical Surveys: Plan, direct, and participate in analyses of geological, geochemical, and geophysical survey data, well logs, and other test results, maps, notes, and cross sections.
  • Direct Field Studies and Drilling Programs: Plan, direct, and participate in geological, geochemical, and geophysical field studies, drilling, and geological testing programs.
  • Well Completion and Evaluation: Direct and monitor the completion and evaluation of wells, well testing, and well surveys.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Geophysics or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate and adapt to new environments.
  • Relocation Costs: Relocation costs covered by the employer.
