About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysicist to join our team at Dejour Energy. As a Geophysicist, you will play a critical role in advancing our understanding of the physical, chemical, and biological properties of oceans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Oceanographic Research Programs: Plan, direct, and participate in analyses of geological, geochemical, and geophysical survey data, well logs, and other test results, maps, notes, and cross sections.
  • Identify and Advise on Natural Risks: Utilize your expertise to identify potential natural risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
  • Lead Geological and Geochemical Field Studies: Plan, direct, and participate in geological, geochemical, and geophysical field studies, drilling, and geological testing programs.
  • Direct and Monitor Well Completion and Evaluation: Oversee the completion and evaluation of wells, well testing, and well surveys.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate and have relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance and a criminal record check.
