Process Management Specialist

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a highly skilled Process Management Specialist to join our dynamic Process Management team. This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of products, processes, and services that meet or exceed customers' expectations in accordance with CBS' Management System and all legislative and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement domain-specific processes, standards, and procedures that occur within Canadian Blood Services' production processes.
- Ensure that designed processes are accurate, representative of industry best practices, and efficient and effective.
- Facilitate the dissemination of best practices across regions as they relate to production processes.
- Ensure effective ownership of Production process documentation by ensuring that all improved process documentation is centrally located and up-to-date.
- Build an understanding of process maturity and provide data to drive process improvement priorities.
- Facilitate, assist, and promote the identification of continuous process improvement opportunities; prioritize and execute process improvement opportunities to ensure continuous process enhancement.
- Closely liaise with the regional supply chain team to ensure efficient and effective implementation of processes and identification of continuous improvement opportunities.
- Assist in monitoring the consistent adherence to defined processes and identify, resolve, and escalate issues of non-adherence.
- Ensure that all internal Canadian Blood Services' stakeholders are informed of major issues affecting process design or execution of processes pertaining to Production.
- Completion of a university degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Six Sigma designation is an asset (e.g. Black Belt).
- Proven and progressive experience in the field of manufacturing/process development.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communications skills in English.
- A combination of experience and education will be considered.

This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at Canadian Blood Services location 40% of the time/2 days of the week.
