Quality Control Coordinator

At AutoCanada, we are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Coordinator to join our team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed inspections of repair vehicles to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks and specifications.
  • Establish and enforce quality control procedures and standards in accordance with industry guidelines and company protocols.
  • Maintain precise documentation of inspections, repairs, and any deviations from quality norms, including photographic evidence and reports.
  • Detect and evaluate defects or issues in repairs, offering constructive feedback and solutions to enhance processes and craftsmanship.
  • Collaborate closely with production supervisors, technicians, and other departments to resolve quality concerns and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Address customer inquiries or complaints related to quality and work towards satisfactory resolutions.
  • Ensure all repair activities adhere to local, provincial, and federal regulations, as well as safety protocols.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts to refine quality control practices and elevate shop performance.
  • Compile regular reports on quality control observations and trends, providing management with insights on areas for enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a body shop environment is highly advantageous.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional record-keeping abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Superior organizational and customer service skills.
  • A proactive attitude to complete tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
