Assistant General Counsel

Stitt + Zosky is seeking a highly skilled Assistant General Counsel to join its team. As a key member of the firm's legal department, the successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing and managing risk for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the General Counsel and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures on risk management
- Provide guidance to lawyers and other staff members on risk-related matters
- Research and analyze new technologies, including AI, to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Design and deliver training programs on risk management and related topics
- Minimum 5 years of practice experience in a large law firm environment
- Excellent judgment and superior legal research and writing capabilities
- Strong client service orientation and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- Strong work ethic, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Litigation experience and fluency in French are considered assets
