Assistant General Counsel

Stitt + Zosky is seeking a highly skilled Assistant General Counsel to join its team. As a key member of the firm's legal department, the successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing and managing risk for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the General Counsel and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures on risk management
- Provide guidance to lawyers on risk-related matters
- Research and analyze new technologies, including AI, to identify potential risks
- Design and deliver training programs on risk management and related topics
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of practice experience in a large law firm environment
- Excellent judgment and legal research and writing skills
- Strong client service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluency in French is an asset
