Position Overview: We are currently in search of an Operations Coordinator to become a key member of our Operations team in a full-time permanent role within our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of inventory within the Distribution Centre and oversee facility operations, which includes managing inventory transactions, financial reporting, and processing freight claims.
  • Act as a liaison between the Operations Department and various internal departments, including finance, customer service, and sales.
  • Log and manage inbound receiving discrepancies, ensuring effective resolution with vendors and buyers.
  • Coordinate employee training requirements in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
  • Provide administrative support by coding invoices, creating month-end accruals, and managing incoming/outgoing deliveries.
  • Assist with facility management tasks such as purchasing supplies and coordinating maintenance of office equipment.
  • Support the Inventory and Warehouse teams with regulatory holds and compliance.
  • Facilitate customer returns through appropriate shipping methods and carriers.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, including building inspections and ergonomic evaluations.
  • Organize facility-level events and perform various operational tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to resolve issues and complete daily tasks.
  • Adhere to company policies and practices, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Utilize intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and engage with databases as required.
  • Prior experience in inventory processing or distribution centers is preferred.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, showcasing problem-solving and analytical abilities.
