About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines and architectures to support business requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure data systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data systems meet business needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL pipelines
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and big data technologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building data products incrementally and integrating data sets from multiple sources
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices
