Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to join our Product Management team at Global Relay. As a TPM, you will play a key role in delivering enhancements and upgrades to our cloud archiving and compliance solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of highly regulated industries and solve critical business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage incoming tickets and assign them to the appropriate owner, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to our services.
  • Collaborate with Product and DevOps Manager on project status, providing regular updates and insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Address obstacles by involving relevant stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and external vendors, to drive project progress and mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate meetings with external vendors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to achieve project goals.
  • Generate reports and artifacts for project transparency, providing stakeholders with clear and concise information to inform decision-making.
  • Own the responsibility for the delivery of specific features/components, working closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and manage component backlog, prioritizing features and requirements to meet business needs and customer expectations.
  • Translate roadmap initiatives into user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear and actionable requirements for development teams.
  • Identify cross-component dependencies and drive requirements through the design phase, ensuring a cohesive and integrated product vision.
  • Remove obstacles blocking progress and ensure program stays on schedule, working closely with stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Prioritize and groom team backlog, attend daily stand-ups, and report progress, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support various departments throughout the release process, providing expertise and guidance to ensure successful product launches.
  • Act as a product expert for assigned components, providing technical guidance and support to development teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with a strong understanding of technical and business requirements.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and working with diverse teams, with a proven ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience as a software developer/engineer, with a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and architectures.
  • Working knowledge of Elastic Search, Kibana, Hadoop, and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with SaaS or enterprise software, with a strong understanding of product development and delivery.
  • Strong requirement analysis and documentation skills, with the ability to capture and communicate technical and business requirements effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
