Job Title: Digital Product Owner

About the Role:

The Digital Product Owner will be responsible for driving business outcomes for multiple digital products, representing the interests of clients/users during product development, and negotiating contracts with third-party vendors when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a collaborative user research process with customers to elicit and document business and functional requirements.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog in collaboration with the technical owner by building, maintaining, and prioritizing the epics and user stories with input from IT, Technical Programs, Product, and other stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities, including usability testing, user acceptance testing, backlog maintenance, and prioritization.
  • Lead the resolution of key customer and stakeholder concerns and escalations.
  • Ensure post-operations activities and action items are completed.
  • Create and drive change management plans, including user documentation, operational resourcing, and product support plans.
  • Identify, prioritize, and address ongoing backlog to support team development and goals.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure digital strategies align with current and future state architecture and approach.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of digital product management and/or program management experience with customer-facing applications.
  • Product management discipline skills, including a proven track record of creating and managing projects for cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional digital portfolios, including budget and resource planning.
  • Familiar with agile methodologies.
  • Collaboration across multiple disciplines (Product, UX, digital marketing, IT, client experience, etc.).
  • Ability to drive results independently while thriving in collaborative environments.
  • Has a deep desire to learn and improve by seeking, accepting, and acting on productive feedback.
