Job Title: Digital Product Owner

The Digital Product Owner is a key role in Technical Safety BC's digital transformation journey. This position is responsible for evolving the way the organization manages and uses digital products and platforms to support client-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive business outcomes for multiple digital products by representing the interests of clients and users during product development.
  • Lead a collaborative user research process to elicit and document business and functional requirements.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog in collaboration with technical owners by building, maintaining, and prioritizing epics and user stories.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities, including usability testing, user acceptance testing, and backlog maintenance.
  • Lead the resolution of key customer and stakeholder concerns and escalations.
  • Ensure post-operations activities and action items are completed.
  • Create and drive change management plans, including user documentation, operational resourcing, and product support plans.
  • Identify, prioritize, and address ongoing backlog to support team development and goals.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure digital strategies align with current and future state architecture and approach.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of digital product management and/or program management experience with customer-facing applications.
  • Proven track record of creating and managing projects for cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaboration across multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to drive results independently while thriving in collaborative environments.
