Job Summary

The Eldorado Tools and Manufacturing Company Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Technician to join our team. As a Payroll Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll for all employees, including calculating gross and net salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Financial Data Management: Store, update, and retrieve financial data, including employee records and payroll history.
  • Human Resources Support: Provide human resources-related support, including personnel selection, benefits administration, and employee communications.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze payroll reports, including period-end reports and reconciliation of issued payrolls to bank statements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws, employment standards, and benefits administration.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in payroll processing or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
