Job Title: Installation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Installation Coordinator to join our team at the University of Ottawa. As an Installation Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the installation of events and conferences on campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the installation of events and conferences, including room reservations, equipment setup, and logistical arrangements.
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide recommendations for event planning and execution.
  • Manage event budgets, including cost estimates, invoices, and payments.
  • Supervise the setup and installation of events, ensuring that all necessary equipment and resources are available.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and suppliers, to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event coordination or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems, including event management software and spreadsheets.
