About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Regional Sewer and Watermain Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a variety of settings, including outdoors and at various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating a range of heavy equipment, including backhoe excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and concrete pumping equipment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: The operator will be responsible for cleaning and lubricating equipment, refilling equipment tanks, and performing minor repairs to ensure the equipment is in good working condition.
  • Attachment and Operation: The operator will be responsible for securing special attachments to equipment and operating hydraulic pumping systems.
Work Environment

The Heavy Equipment Operator will work in a variety of settings, including outdoors and at various locations. The work will be physically demanding and require attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Experience: The successful candidate will have 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in operating heavy equipment.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Language: The language of work will be English or French.
  • Work Hours: The work hours will be 35 hours per week.
