About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Regional Sewer and Watermain Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a variety of settings, including outdoors and at various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoe excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and concrete pumping equipment.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
  • Secure special attachments to equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment.
  • Operate hydraulic pumping systems.
Work Environment

The Heavy Equipment Operator will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail. The work will be physically demanding and may involve working in various weather conditions.

Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
