Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Regional Sewer and Watermain Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to support our construction and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and bulldozers to perform tasks such as excavation, trenching, and backfilling.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment and refill tanks as required.
  • Secure special attachments to equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Operate hydraulic pumping systems and other equipment as required.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or maintenance environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and physical stamina.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain required certifications.
