About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at BVD Petroleum Inc. As an Office Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our management team, including preparing and editing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our office, including managing supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination and implementation of projects, including developing project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • HR Support: Provide support to our HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced office environment with a large workload.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods, with frequent interruptions.
