Dispatch Clerk Role

The Dispatch Clerk is a key member of our team, providing administrative support to the Dispatch Department at Linamar Corporation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and review customs paperwork from drivers, customers, or in-office personnel to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Submit necessary information to Customs and Broker in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring seamless border crossings.

• Communicate with drivers via two-way radio and satellite messaging to inform them of clearance status.

• Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems to minimize delays and ensure efficient operations.

• Collect, sort, and distribute returning driver trip envelopes, and ensure all outbound envelopes are complete with necessary documentation.

Requirements

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in the transportation industry is an asset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
