Accoravillage is currently seeking an Internal Communications and Employee Experience Advisor. Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications and Employee Experience, this role is pivotal in executing and implementing internal communications strategies and programs that drive business outcomes and engage all employees.

The successful candidate will assist in establishing new communication processes and guide messaging across all organizational levels in collaboration with executives, business units, divisions, and functions. The role involves crafting clear and compelling strategies and messages, while exploring innovative delivery methods that promote a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the development and execution of internal communication plans to engage employees around key business objectives;
  • Organize various events and employee meetings, managing all related communications, logistics, and coordination;
  • Create impactful communication tools (presentations, videos, visual publications, etc.) tailored for diverse audiences across our operations.
  • Draft and edit various memos, announcements, and other internal documents in both English and French;
  • Collaborate with different departments to address internal communication needs, aligning with the employer brand and employee engagement strategies.
  • Oversee the internal communications calendar;
  • Propose and implement initiatives, activities, or events designed to engage and mobilize stakeholders around communication projects or objectives;

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience, primarily in internal communications;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both French and English (fully bilingual);
  • Strong consulting and change management capabilities;
  • Proficient writing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment with tight deadlines;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills;
  • Capability to understand the broader context and consider cultural factors when crafting and disseminating messages;
  • Enthusiasm, determination, creativity, and sound judgment;
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities;
  • Ability to handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy;
  • Strong relational skills; capable of managing projects and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic environment across various locations;
  • Familiarity with multimedia content production (graphic design, video) is an asset.
