Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating hearing services for infants, preschool, school, and adult populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultative public, parent, and caregiver education and training services
  • Deliver clinical supervision and training for students and provisional members
  • Participate in the education of other healthcare professionals
  • Exercise independent judgment in determining work priorities and methods
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
  • Active Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba
  • Eligible for membership with the Speech-Language & Audiology Canada
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook/Email
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Decision making, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Respect for cultural diversity and proficiency in both official languages
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet physical and mental demands of the job
Conditions of Employment
  • Completes and maintains a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check
  • Immunized as a condition of employment in accordance with Southern Health-Santé Sud policy
  • Valid driver's license, all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance
