Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Supervisor to join our team at 10374687 Canada Inc. as a key member of our food services operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring optimal inventory management and minimizing waste.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality service.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic setting.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and team collaboration.

Work Setting

This role is based in a restaurant environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Supervision

The successful candidate will supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The Food Services Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail.

Personal Suitability

The ideal candidate will possess excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and excellent oral communication skills, with a strong ability to work as a team player.

Experience

The successful candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food services supervisory role, with a strong background in customer service and team leadership.
