Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Broker to join our team at Akan Insurance. As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for calculating premiums, establishing client insurance coverage, and ensuring that all necessary forms and policy requirements are completed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate premiums and ensure accurate quotes for clients
  • Establish and maintain client relationships to understand their insurance needs
  • Ensure that all necessary forms and policy requirements are completed and submitted to clients
  • Monitor insurance claims and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide information to clients on group and individual insurance packages, risk coverage, benefits, and policy features
  • Sell a variety of insurance products, including automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, and aircraft insurance
Requirements
  • Provincial or territorial license to practice as an insurance broker
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the insurance industry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in English language
