About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Underwriter to join our team at CMB Insurance. As an Underwriter, you will play a critical role in evaluating insurance risks and determining policy premiums.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review individual and group applications for insurance to assess risk and determine policy premiums.
  • Evaluate new and renewal applications to determine insurance risks, premiums, and coverage.
  • Approve the sale of insurance policies and ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Provide underwriting advice and answer inquiries from clients and company personnel.
  • Prepare underwriting reports and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
