About the Role

CMB Insurance is seeking a skilled Insurance Underwriter to join our team. As an Insurance Underwriter, you will play a critical role in evaluating insurance risks and determining insurance premiums.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review individual and group applications for insurance to determine coverage and premiums
  • Evaluate new and renewal applications to assess insurance risks and ensure compliance with government regulations
  • Approve the sale of insurance policies and provide underwriting advice to clients and company personnel
  • Prepare underwriting reports and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail
