Service Advisor

Dawson Group is seeking a skilled Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to our innovative team.
We're expanding our service team at our Kelowna facility and looking for professionals to join us in a permanent, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally greet customers and answer phones
- Create repair estimates for authorization
- Inform Credit department of customer A/R account exceedance
- Keep customers updated on repair status and costs
- Assist in timekeeping of technicians
- Manage invoice payments and files
- Open work orders, sublet POs, and contact customers for PO closure
- Process repair orders
- Determine warranty type, period, status, and cause of failure
- Check product coverage
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of administrative experience
- Heavy truck industry and/or mechanical knowledge and experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
- Knowledge of basic computer applications
- Previous OEM Service experience an asset
