Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team at our brand-new facility in Kelowna. As a Service Advisor, you will be a valued member of our team, working in a permanent, full-time position. You will report to the Manager of Service and be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Professionally greet customers and respond to their inquiries
- Create repair estimates for authorization and keep customers updated on the status and cost of repairs
- Assist in the timekeeping of technicians and manage invoice payments and files
- Open work orders, sublet POs, and contact customers for POs to close work orders
- Process repair orders and determine the type of warranty, period of limitations, warranty status, and cause of failure
- Check on product coverage and ensure that customers are informed of their options
Requirements
- Minimum two years of administrative experience
- Heavy truck industry and/or mechanical knowledge and experience is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
- Knowledge of basic computer applications
- Previous OEM Service experience is an asset
