Job Summary

We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team at our brand-new facility in Kelowna. As a Service Advisor, you will be a valued member of our team, working in a permanent, full-time position. You will report to the Manager of Service and be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Professionally greet customers and answer phones
  • Create repair estimates for authorization
  • Inform the Credit department if a customer's account is exceeded
  • Keep customers updated on the status and cost of repairs
  • Assist in the timekeeping of Technicians
  • Manage invoice payments and files
  • Open work orders, sublet POs on work orders, and contact customers for POs to close work orders
  • Process repair orders
  • Determine the type of warranty, period of limitations, warranty status, and cause of failure
  • Check on product coverage

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience
  • Heavy Truck industry and/or mechanical knowledge and experience is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications
  • Previous OEM Service experience is an asset
