Vanguard School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary Lunch Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our Student Life department, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and safe experience for our students during lunchtime.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our team of animators to plan and lead engaging activities during lunch recess periods;
- Supervise students in our meeting rooms, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity;
- Exercise preventive supervision, informing students about our school's regulations and corrective monitoring to address any inappropriate behavior;
- Follow up on punitive and restorative measures, ensuring a fair and supportive environment;
- Communicate effectively with teachers, the Student Life Coordinator, and administration regarding any problematic situations;
- Ensure compliance with our school's code of conduct;
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
- Hold a Secondary 5 diploma or equivalent;
- Be available during elementary school lunch periods;
- Have experience in animation and intervention with young people;
- Proficiency in spoken and written French and good knowledge of English;
- Ability to work in a team.
Competitive hourly rate between $21.37 and $25, depending on experience.
