Job Overview

In this pivotal role, reporting to the Program Director or Senior Manager, you will provide operational guidance and support to a diverse team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients and their families. This position entails shared responsibility with a Physician Leader for the efficient and effective delivery of services within designated sub-units of a comprehensive clinical program. You will lead and supervise interdisciplinary staff, including Clinical Nurse Leaders (CNLs) and/or Unit Supervisors, ensuring high-quality care is consistently provided.

  • Educational Background: A Master's degree in a relevant Health Profession along with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in middle management within a medium to large healthcare organization, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Effective Communication: Proficient in verbal and written communication, ensuring clarity and understanding among diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership to the interdisciplinary team, ensuring patient-centered care is delivered within a coordinated care model.
  2. Collaborate with the Physician Operations Leader to manage care provision effectively within assigned sub-units, aligning with operational and strategic objectives.
  3. Engage with other leaders to drive process improvements, utilizing quality improvement tools and data analysis.
  4. Work with community and internal partners to ensure timely care delivery that meets patient needs.
  5. Facilitate effective communication among team members regarding changes impacting service delivery.
  6. Act as a liaison between assigned sub-units and corporate support systems to identify needs and solutions.
  7. Collaborate with physician partners to develop and monitor operating and capital budgets.
  8. Develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies in partnership with Human Resources.
  9. Facilitate orientation programs for new staff to ensure understanding of clinical practices and policies.
  10. Evaluate staffing patterns to ensure adequate coverage for patient care needs.
  11. Participate in leadership team activities, including collective bargaining and service delivery proposals.
  12. Create an environment that promotes interdisciplinary learning and continuous improvement.
  13. Ensure team practices align with established clinical standards and guidelines.

Vaccination Requirement
