Role Overview

We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic Banquet Attendant (Porter) who shares our passion for excellence and brings enthusiasm to every task.

Key Responsibilities:

The Banquet Attendant is a vital member of the Food & Beverage team, dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and service to our guests. Our Banquets Department is involved in planning, setting up, executing events, and breaking down the room for subsequent events. Responsibilities include arranging tables and chairs, providing meeting materials, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the venue.

Qualifications:

We seek individuals with a keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This role involves direct interaction with guests, requiring excellent communication skills.

Due to the nature of this position, the Banquet Attendant must maintain a high level of physical mobility, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 80lbs. A positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks are essential. Availability on an on-call, casual basis is required.

Smart Serve certification is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Banquet Attendant in a fast-paced Food and Beverage environment.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in the English language.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a valuable asset for career advancement.
