Job Overview
- Responsible for operating, welding, repairing, and meticulously cleaning various components of molds for both ongoing and future production. Ensure that all modifications and repairs adhere to the specified measurements outlined in the plans and diagrams for each part being serviced;
- Undertake additional responsibilities related to the operation and maintenance of the service as directed by the service administrator or team supervisor.
Qualifications
- Completion of a Professional Studies Diploma (DEP) in machining or a recognized machinist diploma, which includes a CNC machine course, programming, and a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the machinist field;
- Exceptional ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans, with proven skills in executing all mold repair procedures effectively;
- Demonstrated initiative, independence, and attention to detail;
- Must possess the necessary tools to carry out the job effectively;
- Proficient in computer usage and maintaining up-to-date inventory records;
- Good physical condition to perform all job-related tasks and to lift and handle heavy materials (subject to medical confirmation);
- Completion of forklift operator training is advantageous;
- Knowledge of safety regulations pertinent to the role and general factory protocols.
Additional Information
Compensation: $40.08 per hour
Work Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, covering both day and night from Sunday to Sunday.
