About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Culinary Specialist to join our team at Jon Smith Subs. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific dietary needs and preferences.
  • Special Meals: Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by our dietitian or chef, ensuring that all meals are tailored to meet their individual needs.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that our kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of your work, including food preparation, presentation, and kitchen maintenance.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with ease, including food preparation and kitchen cleaning.
  • Work Under Pressure: Work effectively under pressure, including during peak periods and in fast-paced kitchen environments.
