Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire and train food service staff, providing ongoing support and development opportunities.
    • Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with exposure to odours, wet/damp conditions, and hot temperatures.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
