Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part Time Office Clerk to join our team at CB Canada. As a Part Time Office Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, creating house bills and master bills, and coordinating and tracking shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry of all shipment details into our in-house database
  • Creation of house bills and master bills
  • Coordination and tracking of shipments, including booking, picking, and delivery of goods, tracking transportation, documentation, insurance, and accounting
  • Advising customers on air and road transport procedures and international regulations
  • Obtaining and producing all relevant information from overseas, consulates, government agencies, etc.
  • Organizing transportation and documentation with carriers
  • Producing accurate information and documentation on time
  • Ensuring compliance with CBSA and Transport Canada regulations
  • Closing all files within the established time frame
  • Performing administrative tasks, including billing corrections, reports, records retention, audits, and other general administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Knowledge of air freight operations an asset
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
