Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part Time Office Clerk to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data entry and management of shipment details into our in-house database
- Creation of House Bills & Master Bills
- Coordination and tracking of shipments, including booking, picking, and delivery of goods, as well as transportation, documentation, insurance, and accounting
- Providing expert advice to customers on air and road transport procedures and international regulations
- Obtaining and producing relevant information from overseas, consulates, government agencies, etc.
- Organizing transportation and documentation with carriers
- Producing accurate information and documentation on time
- Ensuring compliance with CBSA and Transport Canada regulations
- Managing administrative tasks, including billing corrections, reports, records retention, audits, and other general administrative duties
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- Knowledge of air freight operations an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
