Job Summary
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for leading the Sales and Customer Service teams across western Canada, driving profitable sales growth, and ensuring world-class service for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Sales and Customer Service teams, providing direction and leadership to direct and indirect reports.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to create annual sales execution plans and work with the Customer Service Manager to create annual service plans.
- Ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets and goals.
- Develop and direct sales staff to establish new customers, increase sales, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Senior Leadership to drive the overall business forward.
Sales and Marketing
- Create and deliver accurate sales budgets year over year.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and health in the business.
- Recommend and implement strategies for market growth, including new products and services.
- Collaborate with other Oldcastle companies to establish best market results.
- Evaluate product portfolio and participate in new product introduction and SKU rationalization efforts.
- Collaborate with production and operations to monitor and ensure that product conforms to quality control parameters and is available in amounts to supply the product demand.
Administration and Leadership
- Administer Salesforce for western Canada.
- Oversee administrative sales functions for the specified product sales program.
- Develop and direct sales staff to establish new customers, increase sales, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Sales and Customer Service teams.
Requirements
- Able to travel up to 70% of the time.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Management, Sales, Marketing, Client Services, or equivalent in training, education, or experience in a related field or function.
- 10+ years' experience in a senior-level sales leadership role.
- Must possess a strong track record of proven leadership of high-performing teams in Sales and Customer Service.
- Must be familiar with residential, commercial, and retail distribution channels.
