POSITION SUMMARY
In the role of Human Resources Systems Analyst, you will report directly to the Manager of HR Client Services. This position requires a strong analytical approach to identify inefficiencies within systems and processes, while proposing viable solutions through effective communication and collaboration across various teams. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while actively contributing to our HR initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

System Configuration & Maintenance

  • Oversee the configuration and ongoing maintenance of the HR Information System (HRIS) to align with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR and Labour Relations teams to implement system changes in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Ensure accurate setup by understanding and applying contract requirements.

Benefit Management:

  • Administer union employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, and retirement plans.
  • Serve as the primary contact for union benefit remittances on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain the benefits module within the HRIS, ensuring all supporting documentation is accurate.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies related to benefit calculations and payments.
  • Work closely with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate processing of benefits.

System Security and User Support:

  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for HRIS users.
  • Manage user access permissions and security protocols.
  • Develop user guides and training materials to facilitate system navigation.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to implement system upgrades.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Document workflows and configurations related to the HRIS.

Data Integrity and Auditing:

  • Conduct regular audits to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop an audit plan to systematically review system operations.
  • Generate reports on union membership and benefit enrollment.
  • Provide insights based on data analysis to enhance HR processes.
  • Identify and correct discrepancies found during audits.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 3-5 years of experience in a System Analyst or related role.
  • Proven skills in analysis, design, and development.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in unionized environments and benefits management.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms, particularly ADP Workforce Now.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis tools.
