Senior Project Engineer

Aplin Martin is a leading civil engineering firm with a strong reputation for delivering innovative and practical design solutions. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in leading projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned projects through the municipal design approval process, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements.
  • Direct involvement in the detailed engineering design process, guiding technical support staff to achieve design objectives and approvals.
  • Exercise judgment on engineering requirements, collaborating with municipal jurisdictions to ensure project success.
  • Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and municipal staff, documenting outcomes and project progress.
  • Track project milestones, obtaining authorizations and approvals for changes in schedule or scope.
  • Contract administration and management, including budget tracking, invoicing, and accounts receivables.
  • Provide mentorship and evaluation of junior staff, promoting professional growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of local experience in design of land development or capital works projects.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects, producing accurate and high-quality work.
