Job Title: Engineer/Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer/Technologist to join our team. As an Engineer/Technologist, you will be responsible for providing design and construction services for a variety of project types across Vancouver Island.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing design and construction services for municipal engineering projects
  • Developing concepts and designs using Civil 3D, CAD, and other computer-aided drafting programs
  • Producing design calculations and analysis for storm water and sanitary sewer collection systems
  • Assisting in preparing engineering and construction tender documents and contracts
  • Inspecting construction of municipal engineering projects
  • Providing input into project budgeting and scheduling
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or Engineering Design Technology with registration (or eligible for registration) with AScT or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC
  • ~3+ years' experience in municipal or transportation engineering related fields
  • ~ Working knowledge of Civil 3D/AutoCAD
  • ~ Transportation and/or Municipal engineering design experience
  • Experience in large and small-scale projects
