Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at North Hill Shell Gas Station. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Monitor customer feedback and use it to improve our products and services.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are displayed attractively.
    • Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for stock replenishment or disposal.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage the store's budget, ensuring that expenses are controlled and that sales targets are met.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Employee Development
    • Provide training and development opportunities for sales floor staff, helping them to improve their skills and knowledge.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to help employees achieve their goals.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
