Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Sales Floor Management: Assign sales staff to duties, manage the sales floor, and ensure that the store is well-organized and visually appealing.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that inventory is accurately recorded.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to senior management.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Store Operations: Establish and maintain work schedules, manage store budgets, and ensure that all store operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
