Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at North Hill Shell Gas Station. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Monitor customer feedback and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are displayed attractively.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and address any discrepancies.
  • Financial Management
    • Authorize payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate financial records.
    • Monitor sales performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop sales floor staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
  • Store Maintenance
    • Ensure that the store is maintained in a clean and safe condition, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Oversee the maintenance of equipment and fixtures, ensuring that they are in good working order.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with regular exposure to cash handling, customer service, and inventory management. The role requires flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
