Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at AmerisourceBergen. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient scheduling of patient appointments, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain patient appointment schedules to optimize clinic and homecare efficiencies
  • Ensure timely communication with customers, including program personnel, Field Nurses, and Patients, within departmental Key Performance Indicators
  • Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures
  • Collaborate with Field Nurses and Business Area Managers to resolve scheduling challenges and opportunities
  • Support new initiatives and internal departmental processes, including database enhancements and workflow improvements
  • Identify and resolve scheduling issues, leveraging the escalation process to ensure timely resolution
  • Strategize with stakeholders to mitigate risk and achieve optimal patient experiences
  • Manage workload, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing circumstances to meet Key Performance Indicators
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry (or similar); scheduling experience an asset
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing departmental and organizational landscapes
