Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Imaging Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at BC Cancer. As a key member of our scheduling team, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient appointments for medical imaging procedures. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that patients receive the best possible care, while also maintaining the highest level of efficiency and productivity in our scheduling process.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments for medical imaging procedures
  • Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless scheduling and coordination
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records and reports
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective scheduling processes
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in a scheduling or coordination role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
