Job Summary

The Medical Imaging Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and booking patient appointments for designated areas within Radiology. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure efficient and effective scheduling processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Schedule and book patient appointments in accordance with established priority levels and medical/technical staff schedules.
- Coordinate with patients, doctors' offices, nursing units, and other healthcare professionals to confirm appointments and relay instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information and scheduling records.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

- Grade 12, two years' recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to keyboard at 40 wpm and operate related equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
